Entrepreneur Resources On the Web

Working at home I’ve collected a few great resources for the entrepreneur, solopreneur, or small business owner below and hope that others will add to the list any great resources I’ve failed to mention.

Startup Nation – http://www.startupnation.com/ – Small business advice & help, podcasts, articles, radio show, a blog and a forum (plus a services and ‘help wanted’ directory for projects). Free to join, free to enjoy resources.

Partner Up – http://www.partnerup.com – meeting place for entrepreneurs to find resources and people with the expertise they need. A place for investors to find business opportunities. A way to locate individuals to serve on your BOD and skilled professionals to make your idea become the next business reality. Amazing growth — over 10,000 members — since opening doors in April 2007. (Free basic membership, Premiere paid memberships available).

SCORE – Counselors to America’s Small Business – Offers business advice, tools, online courses and help from people who have been where you are now — and know what you need to do and where the pitfalls may be lurking. The also offer a small business tools. Score is manned by volunteers: retired executives, business owners, and knowledgeable individuals willing to donate time and expertise to help others find business success.

The Small Business Adminstration – resources for all things related to small business including loan information, youth entrepreneurship incentives, free online training, articles, tools and assistance when you need it. See in particular the Small Business Planner section.

These are a few to get you started, but I hope you will share any that you have tried and can recommend (or any which were you would NOT recommend).
