WickedBlog respects and protects your privacy. Any information provided to WickedBlog will be used to answer or respond to questions as requested. I do not share information with anyone for any reason without your specific permission (or a court order!). If I want to use something, I’ll ask. Period. It’s not just my policy, it’s good manners.
From time to time, I may contact registered users personally. You will not get mass emails or generic ones. I may contact you to welcome you to Wicked, or to ask if there is something more you would like to see here that I could provide.
Registration is not required to post comments, but comments may be monitored. I encourage comments from any and all readers, but try to keep it (mostly) family-friendly here at WickedBlog. There are some words I’d prefer not to see on my website.
In the future, if I add a newsletter of a featured article subscription, I may approach you to see if you would like to be included. I don’t do automatic inclusions. I get enough spam already and I’m sure you do too. I won’t contribute to that problem.
This site does collect user statistics for the purpose of determining which articles and features are most popular. Knowing what my readers enjoy most will help me to provide topics and content to best serve your needs. If I have an article on “Web Content” which receives twice as much readership as one on “Branding Your Business,” I’ll know that I need to write more about Web Content — and I’ll do that.
I welcome your suggestions and encourage you to request any related information that you would like to see on the site that’s not already here. Just tell me how I can help you to make your business better and life a bit less hectic and I’ll do my best to assist you!
Since WickedBlog is not really a money maker for me (I consider it more of a passion), I’ve opted to “rent” a little space to ads in the hope of offsetting some of my expenses. I appreciate your patronage of the ads I’ve selected for you. I also use Google AdSense in some areas of the site. Because of this, you need to know how that impacts your privacy:
- Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
I hope this answers any questions you have about my use of your information and my philosophy on privacy. Please contact me with any questions and thank you for visiting WickedBlog.
