Efrat – I purchased the base photo from istock (at least that’s where I think I bought it, I’d have to check my files) then I created the rest to personalize it. I liked the photo, liked the look and thought the first time I saw it that it looked both wicked and like a W and it took some time before I figured out exactly how I wanted to use it. Thanks for the comment. The email is worked into the logo graphic to help avoid too much email spam. (I never put my email up in a format that can be easily “collected” by spambots.) It’s my full name “at” my URL.

Thanks for the catch on the typo! Soldiering with my father would probably have been more exciting than soldering.

I looked at your website, wickedwriter.com. Why isn’t an “email” address listed? Seems “strange” for someone who does the “work” you do. Had some questions about your web site and doing some work but no way to “contact” you by email so will try someone “else”.

I am feeling your pain… I am the director of IT and addition to supporting people on both Mac and PC platforms, I do some writing myself as well as some coding. I further hate going back and forth trying to find that perfect application for my personal taste at the moment. The quick notes you mention I find in windows Wordpad works well enough and is quick. I use Ubuntu Linux and there is something similar there. The bloat of some apps is crazy these days though. I really do need to read more often here…
