But, they were looking for someone else! I had gotten my number from AT&T and the calls began immediately looking for someone named Louis Chandler. I would call the numbers back tellig them that this was no longer Louis' number, but they kept harrassing me! Finally, I changed my cell phone number and I no longer receive the annoying phone calls. What I should have done is report the agencies to the Better Business Bureau; or gotten myself a lawyer. But it continues. *sigh* Mine seem to have slowed down now that I took several hours and pulled all the known origination numbers from the web reports of others and added the ones I'd seen on my own caller ID and blocked those on my number. I just resent the need to spend my time in that manner -- to avoid phone calls from people I don't want to call me. I've also set up ring-to rules so that after business hours, only certain numbers make it through to my cell -- the rest are sent straight to voice mail.
