Yeah, in my quest to find what is "enough" without stepping over into the realm of what is "too much" -- I discover more and more of this kind of thing.

The hardest part for me? Realizing that just because it's the latest and greatest technology doesn't (by that fact alone) mean I need it.

*Holds head in shame* It's a rough addiction to overcome. :)

I think you have fallen to exactly what I see happen all the time in the realm of technology, especially with computers and to a lesser extent things like cameras, printers, and probably cell phones. We get up sold on features that we really do not need, desire, and a lot of cases, never use. I don't the number of laptops I see that are ramped up technology over filled boats that weigh in closer to 10 lbs, have features out the yin-yang, and only end be used to browse the web, a little word processing, and once a blue moon a spread-sheet. After all, who really needs WAN cell based modems, 7200 RPM drives, Core-Duo based lightning fast chips, along with blue tooth in a laptop? Okay, okay... I did just order one, but then again I am the IT guy and will actually used all that.

Anglea, I have a canon mp530, great home office printer, has all the bells and whistle's but also prints great output and super fast! Hit the print button, turn around and the output is waiting on you. Great printer for $99.
