Tiny Houses: Fold and go housing option

02/23/2008 9:51:00 AM

Ok, this one is a new concept in my tiny house experience. How would you like a fold-up house that is only 8 foot across during transport, but rather spacious when it’s set up?

It only takes a couple hours to go from transport stage to fully habitable in this “habitaflex house

Be sure to check out the sizes and the floorplans on this customizable folding housing/working/office unit. When folded out, the houses range from 18×22 to 34×22 ft. Amazing design!

BioDiesel RV Jeep Custom and Cool

Ok, today I made the decision that I was going to sell Serenity, my Airstream trailer. My dream was always to have an Airstream Bambi, and pull it with a 4-WD small to medium sized vehicle. It was like a frog jumped in my throat and squatted there, quite comfortable in the new digs, and refused to budge. (more…)

That’ll teach me: unlearning good samaritan habits

02/5/2008 12:49:00 AM

In my book, a good Samaritan is a great addition to the world. I like to be around them. I strive to be one. Those situations hand me the “mankind isn’t all bad” drum that I need to beat on occasion to feel good about society… despite the horrors of war and poverty and selfishness and abuse found at every turn in our “modern life.”

With that said, I think I’ve changed my mind. It happened on Friday… (more…)
