Although I love the tiny houses, and I like the idea of high-efficiency home production, these houses hold little charm. To me, they look like boxes — and ugly ones at that.

We have to start making energy efficient homes and in time architecht will enbraces this and improve on appearance. I think its a great idea. We just got our first IKEA store in Orlando last month what a huge huge huge store bigger than the largest mall next door to it.
I agree that energy efficiency and being more choice-driven in housing is important… I just think it can be pretty AND functional, even from the beginning.
