I was introduced to a cool bumpersticker this weekend that works for me on so many levels. I know it was merely a political statement for the owner, but with the whole “bad Karma” thing I’ve noted in 2007, it fits beyond the White House reference:
2008: The end of an error
(Politically speaking, I just hope that it’s not the beginning of an even larger one.)
I really do hope it is the end of an error.
My nightmare fantasy is that “W” is going to get the idea from Musharraf to declare a state of emergency and suspend elections in the US.
Given that our Congress seems to be powerless, despite having a Democratic majority, my nightmare may not be so farfetched.
OK, now it’s time to replace fear with faith. As long as at least one Congressional representative has read and understands the US Constitution – there’s hope.
