New Options for Beginning Virtual Assistants
Outsourcing service providers are a growing segment of the population. With astronomical gasoline prices, the spread of broadband and communications networks, it’s no surprise that more individuals are seriously considering alternative work styles.
Two years ago, Jodi Diehl and I started www.RemoteProfessionals.com, and this year we are launching a new membership level to help individuals interested in establishing their own services business to begin outsourcing.
The Startup Member joins our other membership categories and is designed to help make the transition from traditional employee to entrepreneur a bit easier. I regularly talk with individuals who want to start their own business by phone. Now I have a place to recommend they go for a broader, more comprehensive network — including people who have been in this business for a number of years.
Start-up members will have full access to the listserv to exchange questions and answers with other members and they will receive the monthly RP Tidbits newsletter with valuable information about working solo. Additionally, Startup members will receive reduced admission rates for regular RP events, teleconferences, web chats, etc. and will have full access to the event archives library. If you are interested in learning more about this Startup Member option or our Regular Member option, visit www.RemoteProfessionals.com.
