Meaningful, Effective Marketing: Narrowing the Real Estate Focus

I just got off the phone with a real estate client. She doubted, a few weeks ago, that narrowing her market would help her. Now, she’s a believer.

Most folks — especially real estate professionals and small business owners — have the same reservations. But, today, having narrowed her focus, she’s overwhelmed with the variety of ways she can make the most of this single focus.

As predicted, it’s expanding underneath her.

She’s focusing on one segment in her metro market and is launching a website for that particular market soon.

She’s developing resources, collecting and creating articles that speak only to that market, and is finding that opportunities for serving that market keep “falling in her lap.”

As a specialist, in an area she knows and loves, she’s finding great satisfaction.

It’s great to be a part of this kind of development. Makes what I do even more enjoyable than it already was.

Helping people to do what they love most, on their own terms is wonderfully satisfying. To get paid to do that is nirvana.

I wish everyone did what they love most for a living. I believe everyone can, but so few will take the chance to try.

Every client that takes this leap strengthens my belief in one of my favorite sayings…

“Jump, and the net will appear.”
