My next mobile wonder
Ok, I’ve found my next hope. I’ve located THE device that is going to keep me not only MOBILE, but will enable me to leave the office without first packing up everything this side of the kitchen sink and putting it all in a too-big bag to lug around everywhere I go.
The hassle of packing up everything whenever I leave the house, paired with the inescapable urge to take EVERYTHING I might need with me at all times when I leave the farm…. well, it’s made me less willing to step a toe across the property line.
And the more I research and learn about mobile options, the more intrigued I become.
So, I did the research (I’ve done little else but work and research lately) and I made my selections and I ordered it…

Discouragement and rainy weather
Seems that when the leaves start to fall, my mood follows their path.
It’s nearly winter now, and there is still so much to do before snow flies. As I look around the place, I see everything that is NOT done, long before I see what has been accomplished.
I’m not satisfied with my life right now… so I begin the quest to make it all better… and that usually involves creating a PLAN…

Building a home for the family was more important. My current office set-up would have to just "do" for several more months, maybe even a year.

Blogging again
It took some time to make it back home, recover from the trip and get my business back "under control" from the trip.
The most shocking thing, upon my return, is how much I felt like I’d been hit by a truck. It took a solid week of sleepwalking to begin to feel normal again. Jet-lag is horrid.
It is good to be back in Kentucky again. I missed home. I’ve decided that, although I want to travel, perhaps I’ll do it just a little at a time, rather than taking off to tour the entire world all in one fell swoop. It’s exhausting.
Jane says the baby is wonderful (which of course was never in doubt) and that she didn’t even cry when she got her shots upon her return home.
The Chinese culture is one I’ll respect for the rest of my life… Continue reading
